Aavesham: Malayalam Movie Review
Aavesham is an Indian language comedy drama movie directed by Jithu Madhavan starring FaFaa, Sajin Gopu, Hipzster, Mithun, Roshan and Midhutty. It begins with three students Aju, Bibin and Shanthan arriving at Bangalore for their studies and then being harassed by their college seniors. Hoping to seek revenge, they befriend a local gangster, Ranga, to convince him to aid them in getting back at their seniors. Ranga soon develops a deep liking for the boys but they only wish to use him. The rest of the movie outlines the comedic and sometimes heartbreaking events that follow.
The movie in itself is...totally amazing, no other words for it. The movie is peppered with small incidents that will have you rolling with laughter. Jithu Madhavan has used incredible sets and extremely comedic scenes to create an amazing movie. But it also shows the character of the gangster, Ranga, displaying how even the most brutal gangster has a soft and casual side, with many hidden emotions.
One highly appreciable part is the music, background scores and soundtracks. The very talented Sushin Shyam has used appealing beats and a diverse array of singers to create iconic tracks like Illuminati, Armadham, Mathapithakale, Odimaga etc.
The actors have performed brilliantly, including the newly introduced stars Hipzster, Mithun, Roshan and Midhutty. Many junior actors who are actually martial artists have displayed various skills in fighting with different stunts and styles. But hats off to Fahad Faasil and Sajin Gopu for creating such a comic duo and acting flawlessly. Every single scene is comedic with many undertones due to the excellent direction of Jithu Madhav and the truly applaudable acting of the cast.
